Florida Intensifies Crackdown on Medicaid Fraud Among Special Needs Providers
Florida officials are increasing efforts to stop Medicaid fraud, especially among providers serving children with autism and developmental disorders. Investigators reported thousands of active fraud cases involving false billing, kickbacks, and services never provided. State officials warn both providers and parents could face prosecution.
